The setting up of the exhibition-event at Casa Tirelli, held for the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana, includes a double intervention, inside and outside, on the new opera house in Florence.
For the occasion, the façade is dressed in the precious fabrics of the historic tailor’s shop, reproduced out of scale through digital printing and applied to the entrance windows, to welcome guests and allow them to appreciate the detail and fine workmanship.
In the foyer, the exhibition of clothes takes place informally around display cubes consisting of alternating glass and opaque or mirrored parts. The display cases have been designed to offer several viewpoints at once and, by means of appropriate openings in the opaque covering, to direct the visitor’s attention to the most valuable finishes.
