Description:

The project for the reconstruction of the former hygiene office on Via Merulana in Rome aims to return to the city a place that has been in a state of disrepair and neglect for decades.
The building will house an important private collection, with some of the most significant works of the Roman School, and will also house offices and a restaurant on the top level.
The reconstruction will work with the utmost respect for the building’s location and language, without erasing its history:
the reconstruction will restore the original design of the façade and its interior spaces, while distinguishing itself from the original part through a chromatic distinction and a simplification of the decorative parties.
