Description:

The exhibition is the story of the new city designed for the Rome Exhibition in 1942, and its dream of bringing together art and architecture in a universal work of art, stretching between tradition and innovation; a dream destined to be interrupted by the arrival of the war.

The visitor is accompanied in his discovery of the building and its urban context by a fragmentary itinerary that obliges him to continually change perspective and take a fresh look at the city. The landscape, framed by the portico adorned with statues that runs around the perimeter of the building, becomes an integral part of the exhibition, introduced into the exhibition space and multiplied by strategically placed and inclined mirrors.
